Reducing Carbon Makes Real Commercial Sense
The Carbon Trust Standard enables organisations to demonstrate their green credentials by certifying that they have genuinely reduced their carbon footprint and are committed to reducing it year on year.
Organisations which hold the Carbon Trust Standard will receive a higher ranking in the CRC (Carbon Reduction Commitment) league table, achieving a greater recycling payment. It is one of only two 'early action metrics'.
To claim the benefit, you must have a valid Carbon Trust Standard certificate by 31st March 2011.
